New big deal for Iver – winner of Bergman & Beving’s IT procurement process

20 September 2022 / Press release

Bergman & Beving, which acquires and develops leading companies, products and brands in expansive niches for the industrial and construction sectors, has chosen Iver as its full-service IT infrastructure services provider. The agreement has a five-year term and an estimated value of ca. SEK 80 million.

Bergman & Beving has chosen Iver as its new IT partner. Iver will provide a comprehensive IT infrastructure solution including Office 365 services, server operations, communication services, a customer portal, and support services. Bergman & Beving acquires and, over the long term, develops leading companies in expansive niches that deliver productive, safe, and sustainable solutions for the industrial and construction sectors. The group is listed on the NASDAQ Stockholm stock exchange, and has a presence in over 25 countries, around 1,200 employees, and a turnover in the region of SEK 4.5 billion.

”We are, of course, absolutely delighted to have gained the confidence of Bergman & Beving. We have successfully presented a relevant service offering that aligns well with Bergman & Beving’s priorities and requirements. We also have wide-ranging experience of complex service provision packages for similar companies in this sector, which will add considerable value both to the services we provide and to our partnership with Bergman & Beving,” says Magnus Furmarker, VP Business Development, at Iver.

“Our choice of principal IT infrastructure provider was made after a wide-ranging procurement process in which we focused not only on hygiene requirements such as regulatory compliance, cyber security, and stable operations, but on identifying a good match in terms of both culture and size. The companies that make up our group have considerable decentralised responsibility, and Iver’s personal engagement and proven customer satisfaction suits our decentralised model,” says Leif Lemke, IT Director at Bergman & Beving.

“Our task now is to ensure that we provide a modern, stable service provision package that drives Bergman & Beving’s digital transformation process and thereby generates the right preconditions for Bergman & Beving’s ongoing development. We are looking forward, here at Iver, to a long-term, close partnership with Bergman & Beving,” ends Magnus Furmarker.
