Mölnlycke signs agreement with Iver

20 February 2020 / Press release

Mölnlycke, which is a world-leading medical solutions company, has signed a global IT operations agreement with Iver, with a term of 3.5 years.

Mölnlycke, which is a world-leading supplier of medical solutions, has signed a global IT operations agreement with Iver. The agreement will see Iver provide services for Mölnlycke’s approximately 45 operating centres in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Services provided by Iver will include the operation, development, and management of Mölnlycke’s IT infrastructure, systems and networks, along with security and workplace services. Iver’s solution meets advanced accessibility and information security requirements, and complies with the special, industry-specific regulatory requirements governing companies operating in the medical product manufacturing sector.

“In early 2019, we launched a comprehensive selection process in order to review our strategic partners in the fields of workplaces, infrastructure, and security. We have worked intensively with clearly defined requirement specifications during the procurement process, and have focused on the parties involved having a full understanding of our needs and our strategy, with a heavy emphasis on automation and self-service, scalability, and service standardisation. We established very clear evaluation criteria, and Iver ticked every single box in a clear and professional way, whilst simultaneously offering a comprehensive proposal,” says Kristoffer Ekfeldt, IT Director Infrastructure & Operations at Mölnlycke.

“Mölnlycke is one of Sweden’s leading and most highly reputed companies, and operates globally. We have worked closely with Mölnlycke to jointly produce a comprehensive IT operations agreement that creates the preconditions that Mölnlycke needs to continue developing its business in partnership with us. We are proud to have been entrusted with this work by Mölnlycke and are looking forward to a long-term, successful partnership,” says Carl-Magnus Månsson, CEO of Iver.
