Iver is here!

23 May 2019 / Press release

The entrepreneurial companies, Candidator, DGC and Solid Park, have announced the formation of Iver. Iver develops and provides services in the field of IT operations, high security solutions, and application development for medium- and large-sized companies and organisations, and for the public sector. The company, which expects to grow strongly in the Nordic market, already has a turnover of just over SEK 1.5 billion and approximately 900 employees in Sweden and Norway.

The consolidation of the Nordic IT services market has accelerated in line with the fast-tracking of society’s digital transformation. Whatever the size of a business operation, customers are demanding more than ever before in terms of accessibility, security, and innovation – and are looking, as never before, for a driven partner who leverages their understanding of their client’s business to deliver the right type of solution. A secure, local relationship, and access to the latest technology, both now and in the future.

“Iver is the product of three very strong entrepreneurial cultures where the customer has always come first. For over 20 years now, we have challenged the IT giants by providing efficient and high quality services, coupled with personal engagement. And we have brought this culture with us into Iver. Things always work best when you know each other inside out! Which is why we – both now and as we grow – will structure ourselves in a way that ensures an optimum customer experience. It’s only by building close relationships that we can develop an understanding of the client’s business and provide the solutions that help the client company achieve its full potential,” says Åsa Arvidsson, CEO of Iver.

The companies that make up Iver have all grown by creating value for their customers. And what differentiates Iver from the industry’s other operators is that it has not lost sight of the unpretentiousness that goes with being small as it has acquired the strength that comes from being big. But this substantial expansion in terms both of size and expertise means Iver can now, amongst other things, complement its offering with new business areas, such as high security solutions and application development. All in all, Iver will now be a more full-service IT partner for customers who value accessibility, security, and innovation.

“Iver wants more. We want to establish ourselves as the best Nordic IT operating services provider. We want to grow in partnership with our customers, and if we are to do that, we must continue to outpace our competitors. Which means that, as an Iver customer, you can not only expect absolutely cutting edge IT operations solutions, you can rely on our personal commitment and a greater understanding of your business’ operations and needs. And that’s true whether we’re delivering simple services or complex solutions with stringent security, accessibility and supplier proximity requirements,” says Magdalena Persson, Chairman of the Board of Iver.

Candidator, DGC, Solid Park, Exeo and Ismotec will officially become Iver at 16.00 (CET) on 23 May 2019. The previous names will be phase out during a transitional period.

About Iver

Iver develops and provides services in the field of IT operations, high security solutions, and application development for medium- and large-sized companies and organisations, and for the public sector. Iver is the personal approach pretender in the Nordic IT operations market. Iver’s registered office is in Stockholm and we operate in Sweden and Norway, but our agenda will see us continue to expand throughout the Nordic region while remaining, at all times, close to our clients. The company’s roots lie in the successful merger between Candidator and DGC. Under EQT’s ownership, we have grown stronger together and acquired Solid Park, Exeo and Ismotec. Iver has a turnover of just over SEK 1.5 billion and approximately 900 employees. Find out more at iver.se.
