Iver wins SJ’s “Digital Workplace Services” procurement process

Iver has won SJ’s digital workplace services procurement process. SJ, which is a Swedish travel company offering sustainable rail travel, both in-house and in partnership with other operators, is one of Sweden’s greenest brands and is part of the solution for achieving the country’s climate control objectives. As a market-leading rail operator, with 1,500 departures daily from over 400 stations, SJ links together Sweden, Norway and the Scandinavian capital cities. SJ is state-owned and has a mandate to provide profitable, rail-based, passenger traffic.  

Iver will assume full-service responsibility for SJ’s digital workplaces within the framework of the agreement. The starting point for Iver’s provision and distribution of services to over 40 locations in Sweden and Norway will be Iver’s “Digital Workplace” service area. The service provision package comprises a full chain of services from client hardware and lifecycle management to the management of 2,500 computers, 10,000 mobile devices, and printers, together with 2nd and 3rd line support for the services, and optional service desk facilities.
