Diaverum extends and expands partnership with Iver
16 November 2022 / Press release
Iver and Diaverum have signed a new agreement that involves both the extension and the expansion of their existing agreement. Over the next three years, Iver will provide centralised IT operating services, such as server operation, storage, firewall services, backups, client portals, and service desk functions. The services will be provided from mirrored data centres in order to meet redundancy requirements. Diaverum – a leading global provider of health and medical care for people with renal disease – was founded in Sweden in 1991, when the first dialysis clinic was opened under the then name of Gambro Healthcare.
“We’re delighted by the new partnership agreement, and having Iver as our IT operations partner gives us a real sense of security. Modern, efficient, and secure IT operations are fundamental to our digital transformation and act as enablers in our mission to improve the quality of life of renal patients worldwide,” says David Jakobsson, Vice President IT, at Diaverum.
“We’re thrilled by Diaverum’s renewed expression of confidence in Iver and by the fact that the next three years will see us continue to develop our partnership and service provision package. The agreement strengthens our position in our prioritised medical and health care sector vertical, where increased digitalisation generates massive potential for coordination, enhanced efficiency, and continuing to provide a good experience for patients and clients alike. We’re very proud of our client team, who will now be concentrating on elevating our service provision to new levels by working hand in hand with Diaverum and focusing on generating customer benefits,” says Magnus Furmarker, VP Business Development, at Iver.
